“Furthermore, I am pleased that Gina McCarthy’s nomination has successfully advanced through the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee. Ms. McCarthy is extremely qualified and is known for her willingness to always examine issues with a fair and open-minded approach and she will make an excellent Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administer. I urge the Senate to act swiftly and confirm Gina McCarthy so she may begin her post at the EPA to continue the critical work of advancing sound energy policies, such as the RFS.”
