WASHINGTON, DC — Growth Energy, the leading coalition of U.S. ethanol supporters, welcomed Three Rivers Energy, LLC as its newest member, bringing total plant membership to 83, with another 85 associate members. Three Rivers Energy is located in Coshocton, Ohio.
“I am proud to announce the addition of Three Rivers Energy to Growth Energy’s membership,” said Growth Energy CEO Tom Buis. “Three Rivers is an outstanding facility, a leader in ethanol production and a strong voice for the industry. We are pleased they have decided to join in the efforts of Growth Energy. Their membership strengthens our ability to represent the industry across the nation and to educate the public on the benefits of homegrown, renewable fuels.”
Three Rivers Energy, LLC is a Delta T bio-refinery located near the City of Coshocton, approximately 70 miles northeast of Columbus, Ohio and has a production capacity of 50 million gallons. The business was acquired by Three Rivers Energy, a partnership involving Lakeview Energy and Crestwood Biofuels, in June 2012. Lakeview Energy have been investors in the biofuels industry since 2006 and already own and operate another Delta T bio-refinery in Iowa called Plymouth Energy.
