President calls oil crisis a ‘wake up’ for renewable fuels

President Obama called the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico a "wake up call" for action on renewable energy.
During his first press conference in 10 months, the President called on the Senate to advance action on its energy bill to increase U.S. renewable energy production. "It is time to accelerate efforts," he said this morning.
