President Obama speaks at Growth Energy Member Plant
President Obama spoke at Growth Energy member POET-biorefining today in Macon, MO.
Obama said that POET is a success story that can be emulated across the country. He called for a greater investment in alternative fuels saying that we need to "more than triple America’s biofuels production in the next 12 years"
The President spoke to workers at the plant and thanked them for their hard work in helping to grow our domestic economy.
He said, "I believe in what you are doing to contribute to our clean energy and our rural communities."
