Growth Energy Attends NAFB Issues Forum
Growth Energy CEO Tom Buis attended the National Association of Farm Broadcasting's issues forum in Washington D.C. and spoke to broadcasters from across the country about the benefits of domestic ethanol.
Buis discussed the challenges facing the ethanol industry today and discussed the President's recent visit to one of Growth Energy's member plants in Macon, Mo. last weeek. He said the President's support of renewable fuels is critical to the success of the industry. As the President said himself, domestic ethanol can play a significant role in making our nation more energy independent, rebuilding our economy and creating U.S. jobs. Through an investment in renewable fuel we will be able to rebuild the American economy.
Buis also talked about the tragic oil spill in the gulf and discussed the implictions for the ethanol industry with Hoosier Ag Today reporter Gary Truitt. To read the full story, click here.
